Laing is Bicolano’s all-time favorite. This is one of the best cuisines that Bicolano’s are really proud of.
Ingredient:
- 1 medium size onion (minced)
- 3-5 cloves of garlic (minced)
- Medium Ginger (minced)
- Salt
- Hot chili (jalapeno pepper)
- alamang
- ¼ pork (cut into cubes)
- 2-3 glasses of fresh coconut milk
- 1 bundle of dried laing leaves
- Best with Libas leaves
Procedure:
- In a clean pan, put coconut milk, onion, garlic, ginger, alamang, & pork together. Put it in a medium heat stove.
- Continue stirring (so the coconut milk will not compound) until the pork become tender.
- Put salt (the amount will depend on your tasted)
- Put the laing leaves (if you have libas put it as well)
- Once the laing leaves is cooked enough put the chili.
- Let the coconut milk oil comes out.
- Serve hot.
